Just like Bree Matthews in Legendborn, you'll soon discover there's more waiting beneath the surface. This weekend is your invitation to leave the ordinary behind and step into a world of hidden stories, literary adventures, and unexpected connections.

Adventure Out

The adventure officially begins as you meet your newest book besties and set off to explore Hillsborough through a literary lens! We will walk through the quaint town and visit local art galleries, boutiques, and of course bookstores!

Then, over great food and conversation, you'll bond with fellow readers, share your favorite Legendborn theories, and begin building the friendships that make these weekends so special. But the evening doesn't end there. After dinner, a surprise awaits...

Wake up and ease into the day with a cup of coffee and pastry at a beloved local gathering spot, where you can connect with fellow readers before setting out to explore.

Much like Bree's journey in Legendborn, today's adventures will reveal that some of the most memorable experiences are found when you venture beyond the expected.

We'll spend the morning wandering the vibrant local farmer’s market and enjoying live music. With plenty of goodies to savor on the spot, or to take home as a memento of your time in Hillsborough.

We will then head out on a grand adventure, Bree style. Private transportation will take us in style to our next top-secret destination for a flavorful lunch, more bookish surprises, and wandering the same pathways Bree and friends walked in Legendborn. Culminating with an afternoon of reading beneath the changing leaves, while enjoying a sweet treat.

Dinner will feature another local favorite known for its welcoming atmosphere and memorable flavors. We will gather around the table for a memorable meal filled with laughter, intimate discussion, and the kind of connections that transform strangers into book besties.

We'll end the evening with a local author reading and meet-and-greet, exclusively for Stay by the Book guests!

As all great stories do, our adventure begins to wind down. After a weekend filled with literary magic and unforgettable moments with your fellow readers, we'll gather one last time for a leisurely brunch at a beloved local favorite. Following brunch, you can choose to join us for one last peaceful reading session by the river. It's the perfect opportunity to finish a few more chapters and enjoy the calm before returning home.
