Cancellation, Refund & Credit Policy
Terms & Conditions — Stay By The Book, LLC
These Terms & Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between each attendee and Stay By The Book, LLC. By registering for any retreat hosted by Stay By The Book, LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following policies.
1. Booking & Payment
A non-refundable payment must be received by the deadline specified at the time of booking.
Failure to complete payment obligations does not constitute cancellation and does not relieve Attendee of financial responsibility.
2. No Refund Policy
All payments made to Stay By The Book, LLC are final and non-refundable, without exception.
This includes, but is not limited to, cancellations due to illness, injury, travel disruptions, personal emergencies, weather conditions, acts of God, changes in employment, or scheduling conflicts.
Travel insurance is strongly recommended to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
3. Attendee Cancellations & Credits
Failure to attend a retreat for any reason does not entitle Attendee to a refund or credit.
Cancellations made within five (5) months of the retreat start date are not eligible for refund or credit.
4. Transfers
If Attendee would like to transfer their ticket, they have the following options:
Transfer to a friend.
Once transferred, the original attendee must contact Rene or Erin with their name, proof of transfer via an email between the original and new attendee, and contact information of the new attendee.
Transfer to a different retreat date, subject to availability
Please contact Rene or Erin directly to confirm available dates and receive assistance with transferring your registration., the original attendee must contact Rene or Erin with their name, proof of transfer via an email between the original and new attendee, and contact information of the new attendee.
5. Retreat Modifications or Cancellation by Company
Stay By The Book, LLC reserves the right to modify, postpone, reschedule, or cancel any retreat due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
In such cases, Attendee’s sole remedy shall be:
Transfer to a future retreat, or
Credit toward another Stay By The Book, LLC event
No cash refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
7. Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Attendee assumes all risks associated with participation in retreat activities.
Stay By The Book, LLC is not responsible for:
Travel arrangements or costs
Delays, cancellations, or disruptions related to transportation
Injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to personal property
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Attendee releases and holds harmless Stay By The Book, LLC from any and all claims arising before, during, or after the retreat.
8. Code of Conduct
Attendees are required to conduct themselves in a respectful and lawful manner.
Stay By The Book, LLC reserves the right to remove any Attendee whose behavior is deemed disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate.
Removal for misconduct does not entitle Attendee to a refund or credit.
9. Media Release
By attending, Attendee grants Stay By The Book, LLC the irrevocable right to use photographs, audio, or video recordings taken during the retreat for marketing and promotional purposes.
Requests to opt out must be submitted in writing prior to the retreat.
10. Governing Law & Agreement
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State in which Stay By The Book, LLC is registered.
By completing registration and submitting payment, Attendee confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in full.
